Achieving Accreditation is an interactive, in-depth educational seminar designed to help organizations prepare for the Accreditation Association survey. Whether you are applying for accreditation for the first time, or preparing for re-accreditation, this course can help you understand applicable Accreditation Association standards, processes and procedures to get your organization ready for its accreditation survey. This program is led by experienced Accreditation Association surveyors, who are able to share their expertise in and knowledge of the Accreditation Association standards and survey process.

Day One provides a comprehensive review of the Accreditation Association core Standards and how to prepare your organization to meet them. In the afternoon, special small group sessions focus on your own practice setting. Surveyors will provide an overview of the accreditation process from the time of application to the on-site survey.

On Day Two, the morning focuses on the topic of quality improvement (QI). You’ll review sample quality improvement (QI) studies, explore QI topic selection, and learn how to develop QI studies within your own organization. In the afternoon, you tailor the program to your specific needs and interests by selecting the three elective sessions of your choice.

By the end of the program, you will have a firm understanding of the Accreditation Association survey process and what you need to do in order to attain AAAHC accreditation.
