Program Purpose and Objectives
The purpose of this activity is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to prepare for the AAAHC accreditation survey process, i.e., to understand and know how to apply applicable AAAHC standards, processes and procedures in order to prepare their organizations for their accreditation surveys.
As a result of this program, a learner should be able to:
• Describe the core standards that their ambulatory health care organization must meet in order to achieve AAAHC accreditation
• Assess the degree to which their organization is in compliance with the core standards
• Analyze quality improvement projects for compliance with AAAHC standards
• Explain the onsite accreditation survey process
• Describe the adjunct standards that their ambulatory health care organization must meet in order to achieve AAAHC accreditation
